The stock soared 22% to touch a high of Rs 120 and finally settled with a gains of 20% at Rs 118. The counter clocked heavy trading volumes of over 4 million shares on the BSE today.

Voltas has zoomed 13.5% on bagging orders worth Rs 300 crore.
The stock today opened at Rs 100 and soon surged 17% to a high of Rs 115. It is now trading up 13.5% at Rs 111. Around 7,51,333 shares have been traded on the BSE so far.
The company informed the BSE on Friday that it has bagged two orders worth Rs 300 crore for electro-mechanical projects in Kolkata's Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport and Chennai International Airport.
The company also reported a 21% rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 251.40 crore in the year ended March 31,2009 from Rs 207.68 crore in the corresponding fiscal.
The total income increased 36% to Rs 4,406.92 from Rs 3,247.23 crore.
Further, the board has recommended dividends of Rs 1.60 (160%) per share with Re 1 face value.
