Infotech Enterprises has surged 5% at Rs 193 on back of huge block deal on the counter. A combined 12.12 million shares have change hands on the counter so far, against sub 50,000 shares that were traded daily in past two weeks. The name of the buyers and sellers were not immediately known.
The stock opened at Rs 183 and hit two-year high of Rs 195 on the National Stock Exchange. The mid-cap IT stock has outperformed the market by surging 23% so far in current month, compared to around 1% fall in IT sector index.
