Volume Shocker: NIIT Technologies

A total of 5.2 million shares have changed hands so far

NIIT Technologies is trading weaker by nearly 5% at Rs 283.80 on the back of huge volumes. As many as 5.2 million shares have changed hands on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) compared to its two-week average of 52,000 shares.

Reports suggest that there has been a block deal on the counter, wherein 3.92 million shares have changed and the total value of the deal is pegged at Rs 1,005 crore.

The stock opened at Rs 300 and touched the intra-day low of Rs 267 in trades so far.
