Indian ADRs, too, ended on a firm note. ICICI Bank zoomed 9.5% to $29.02, and HDFC Bank soared 7% to $75.55. Dr.Reddy's rallied 4.5% to $15.70. Patni Computers gained 4% at $11.58. Satyam and Tata Motors advanced 3.5% each to $23.46 and $10.11, respectively. Infosys moved up 1.5% to $39.74, and Wipro was up over 1% at $11.11.
On the other hand, Sterlite plunged over 5% to $14. MTNL slipped over 1% to $4.62.
