The Wall Street ended its five-day losing streak with gains over 2% each for Dow and Nasdaq. Hopes of another China stimulus package boosted commodity prices, also a spike in crude oil helped energy shares.

The Dow Jones industrial average index rallied 150 points to 6,876. The Nasdaq surged 33 points to 1,354.

Indian ADRs, too, ended with smart gains. Tata Motors zoomed nearly 10% to $3.57. Sterlite soared nearly 9% to $4.84. Wipro surged over 7% to $5.74, and Patni Computers rallied 5.5% to $4.55. Infosys, ICICI Bank and MTNL gained over 4% each at $24.08, $11.58 and $2.53, respectively. Tata Communications and HDFC Bank added nearly 4% each to $15.65 and $50.61, respectively.
