The Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 26 points to 8,058. The Nasdaq ended almost flat at 1,653.
Indian ADRs ended on a mixed note. ICICI Bank rallied 5.5% to $17.67, and Sterlite surged 5% to $8.58. HDFC Bank moved up 1.6% to $70.64, and Tata Motors added 1% to $7.72.
On the other hand, Satyam slumped 15% to $2.25. Tata Communications tumbled over 4% to $22.97. MTNL shed 2.7% at $2.86, and Wipro was down over 1% at $8.75.
