Wall St ends marginally up; ADRs gain

The US indices pared gains towards the end on Chinese markets concern. The Dow Jones industrial average ended with a marginal gain of 14 points at 13,521. The Nasdaq moved up 15 points to 2572.

Indian ADRs ended on a positive note. MTNL zoomed over 3% to $7.70. Satyam, HDFC Bank and Tata Motors rallied 1-2% each to $25.14, $84.14 and $18.31, respectively. VSNL, however, tumbled over 4% to $22.05, and Wipro shed 2% to $15.74.
