Wall St ends up; ADRs mixed

The Wall Street ended on a positive note yesterday on fresh buying in technology stocks. The Dow Jones industrial average gained 55 points at 12,582. The Nasdaq moved up 30 points to 2,352.

Indian ADRs, however, ended on a mixed note. Satyam soared over 4% to $23.39. Dr.Reddy's rallied nearly 3% to $14.93. Patni Computers and Tata Motors were up over 1% each at $12.59 and $15.62, respectively.

On the other hand, Tata Communications plunged nearly 5% to $23.45. ICICI Bank shed 2.4% at $40.13, and Genpact slipped over 1% to $12.31.
