Wall St ends up on late buying; Indian ADRs decline

The Wall Street ended on a positive note on Thursday on the back of late buying in the market. The Dow Jones industrial average rallied 165 points to 11,434. The Nasdaq gained 30 points at 2,258.

Indian ADRs, however, ended in negative territory. Infosys slumped over 5% to $37.18, and Wipro plunged 4.7% to $10.77.  ICICI Bank tumbled nearly 3% to $30.27. Sterlite and Satyam shed around 2.5% each at $10.78 and $20.92, respectively. Tata Motors and Tata Communications were down over 2% each to $9.17 and $19.05, respectively.

Dr.Reddy's, however, advanced 1% to $12.56.
