Wall St perks up; ADRs drop

The Dow Jones industrial average moved up 20 points to 12,530. The Nasdaq was up eight points at 2459.

Indian ADRs ended mostly in red. Tata Motors and MTNL slipped 1% each to $16.12 and $6.72, respectively. Wipro, HDFC Bank and VSNL closed with marginal losses at $15.83, $65.75 and $18.85, respectively.

On the other hand, Infosys, Patni Computers and ICICI Bank ended with marginal gains at $52.09, $22.97 and $37.71, respectively.
