Wall St rallies; ADRs shine

The US indices ended with significant gains on Tuesday as financial stocks bounced back and the crude oil prices cooled down. The Dow Jones industrial average rallied 266 points to 11,398. The Nasdaq gained 55 points at 2,320.

Indian ADRs, too, ended with smart gains. Tata Communications surged 6.5% to $20.36, and Satyam soared over 6% to $21.78. Tata Motors rallied 5.4% to $9.94. Infosys and Wipro advanced over 4% each to $39.39 and $11.14, respectively. Sterlite and ICICI Bank were up over 3% each at $13.67 and $30.30, respectively. HDFC Bank added 1.8% to $81.85.

On the other hand, MTNL slipped 2.7% to $4.97, and Dr.Reddy's declined over 2% to $14.29.
