The Wall Street began the week on a positive note logging smart gains on Monday. The Dow Industrial Average index surged 413 points to 9,265. The Nasdaq gained 59 points at 1,770.
The Indian ADRs, too, ended with significant gains. Dr.Reddy's zoomed 11% to $9.74. Patni Computers soared over 10% to $6.50, and MTNL surged 9.5% to $3.24. Infosys, Sterlite, Satyam, ICICI Bank and Tata Communications gained 6-8% each. Tata Motors, however, slipped 1.8% to $5.49.
