Wall St rallies; Indian ADRs move up too

The Wall Street rallied smartly yesterday as the US government closed in to final the $700 billion bailout plan. The Dow Industrial Average index surged 197 points to 11,022. The Nasdaq gained 31 points at 2,187.

The Indian ADRs, too, ended on a positive note. Tata Communications zoomed 17% to $23.75. Wipro and MTNL soared around 5% each to $10.55 and $4.44, respectively. Satyam surged over 3% to $18.05. Infosys, Sterlite and Dr.Reddy's advanced over 1% each to $34.24, $10.36 and $11.85, respectively.
