Wall St slips on fresh financial concerns; ADRs end mixed

The Wall Street broke the four-day winning streak on fresh concerns in the financial sector. The Dow Jones industrial average index slipped 42 points to 7,976. The Nasdaq dropped 15 points to 1,607.

Indian ADRs, however, finished on a mixed note. Satyam zoomed over 41% to $2.80. Patni Computers soared over 9% to $6.10. Sterlite surged 3.5% to $7.49. MTNL and Tata Communications were up 1.7% each at $2.87 and $22.38, respectively.

On the other hand, ICICI Bank plunged nearly 3% to $14.85. Infosys and Dr.Reddy's shed 2.5% each at $28.31 and $9.98, respectively. HDFC Bank slipped over 2% to $66.03. Genpact and Wipro declined around 1.5% each to $8.72 and $8.34, respectively.
