The Wall Street once again slumped amid fears of a deeper recession for the US economy. The Dow Industrial Average index plunged 733 points to 8,578. The Nasdaq crashed 151 points to 1,628.
The Indian ADRs, too, ended with steep losses. Infosys, Genpact, Sterlite, Satyam, Wipro, Patni Computers, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, MTNL, Dr.Reddy's and Tata Communications dropped 9-17% each.
