Wall Street surges; ADRs soar

Renewed buying interest saw the US indices end with significant gains on Tuesday. The Dow Jones industrial average rallied 157 points to 12,208. The Nasdaq surged 44 points to 2385.

Indian ADRs flared up. HDFC Bank zoomed over 6% to $64.90. Satyam, Wipro and VSNL flared up over 5.5% each to $21.90, $15.66 and $16.42, respectively. Infosys, Patni Computers and ICICI Bank were up over 4% each to $53.67, $21.78 and $39.43, respectively.
