With the winter session of Parliament ending tomorrow, Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar expressed doubts over the introduction of the Warehousing Development and Regulation bill and amendments to the Forward Contract (Regulation) Act in the current session.

"I have my doubts if we will introduce these two bills in the current session, which is due to end tomorrow," Pawar said on the sidelines of the annual general meeting of Indian Sugar Mills Association (Isma) here today.

The association is likely to push the bills to the Budget session of Parliament for clearance thereby hurting the momentum of the commodity futures segment.

The bills were to be introduced in the monsoon session and then the current winter session.
