ACC has plunged 8.8% to Rs 528, and Ambuja Cements has tumbled 8.4% to Rs 74.
DLF has dropped over 6% to Rs 398. ICICI Bank has shed 5.5% at Rs 617.
Tata Motors has slipped nearly 5% to Rs 427. Grasim and HDFC has declined 4.3% each to Rs 1,860 and Rs 1,964, respectively.
Mahindra & Mahindra is down 4% at Rs 490.
Jaiprakash Assocaites and Hindalco have moved up around 1.5% each to Rs 145 and Rs 141, respectively.
Infosys has advanced 1.3% to Rs 1,731. BHEL and Satyam are up 1% each at Rs 1,395 and Rs 445, respectively.
Out of 2,610 stocks traded so far, 1,974 have declined, 576 have advanced and 60 are unchanged.
