Hindustan Unilever (HUL) has been hammered at the bourses given the royalty payment concerns. How much can it fall from here? Is it a good time to buy FMCG stocks? Check out the trading strategies with Kunal Bothra, technical analyst, LKP Securities.
Smartinvestor : The markets have started off on a quiet note. What are the key levels for the Nifty (cash segment) that you are keeping a tab on?
Kunal Bothra : The markets seems to be stuck in a range, and this has been more or less the setup for the market. After a decent trend it gets stuck in a 100 odd point range. This time the key levels for Nifty spot is 5850-5950. A closing break above / below the levels can trigger a short term trend in that direction.
Smartinvestor : What are the key support and resistance levels for the Bank Nifty? Do you like anything in this space for a long / short position?
Kunal Bothra : Again a similar range for Banknifty 11750-12750. With a similar view as in Nifty.
Smartinvestor : ITC and HUL have lost heavily today. How do they look on the technical charts?
