Wheat dara declines on reduced offtake

In restricted activity, wheat dara prices declined by Rs 5 per quintal in the wholesale grains market today following reduced offtake by flour mills against arrival of new crop.  

Elsewhere, other grains continued to trade in a narrow range on restricted buying activity and settled around previous levels. 

Traders said reduced offtake by flour mills against new crop arrival pressure mainly put pressure on the wheat dara prices.  

In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) declined by Rs 5 to Rs 1,175-1,180 per quintal, while atta chakki delivery traded lower by the same margin to Rs 1,190-1,195 per 90 kg.
