In restricted activity, wheat dara prices drifted by Rs 10 per quintal on the wholesale grains market today due to reduced offtake by flour mills against adequate stocks.

Elsewhere, other grains including rice, remained stable in restricted buying activity.

Traders said reduced offtake by flour mills against sufficient supply in the market mainly led to decline in wheat dara prices.

Wheat dara (for mills) declined by Rs 10 to Rs 1,275-1,280 per quintal, while atta chakki delivery traded lower by the same margin to Rs 1,265-1,270 per 90 kg.
