In an otherwise steady wholesale grains market today, wheat dara weakened by Rs 5 per quintal on reduced offtake by flour mills against adequate stocks.

Traders said the fall in demand from flour mills against adequate stocks led to the decline in wheat dara prices.

In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) declined by Rs 5 to Rs 1,335-1,340 per quintal.

Atta chakki delivery followed suit and traded lower by the same margin to Rs 1,340-1,345 per 90 kg.
