Wheat dara prices rose by Rs 5 per quintal in lacklustre trade today on fresh buying by flour mills.
Elsewhere, other grains traded in a range-bound manner on some deals, settled around previous levels.
Traders said fresh buying by flour mills to meet the increased demand for marriage and festive season, mainly attributed to the rise in wheat dara prices.
Wheat dara (for mills) gained Rs 5 to Rs 1,210-1,215 per quintal, while atta chakki delivery traded higher by the same margin at Rs 1,215-1,220 per 90 kg.
