Wheat dara prices strengthened in lacklustre trade today on pick up in demand against restricted arrivals.
Atta and maida were also in better form on increased demand.
Traders said increase in demand in view of marriage season mainly led to a rise in wheat dara and maida prices.
In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) remained in demand and added another Rs 5 to Rs 1,300-1,305, while wheat deshi remained flat at Rs 1,650-1,765 per quintal.
Atta chakki delivery followed suit and gained Rs 5 to Rs 1,305-1,310 per 90 kg, while flour mills traded higher by Rs 10 to Rs 680-700 per 50 kg.
Maida also seen in local demand and edged up by Rs 10 to Rs 765-795 per 50 kg. Other bold grains like, bajra inched up by Rs 5 to Rs 830 -840 per quintal on increased industrial offtake.
