In restricted activity, wheat dara prices declined by Rs 10 per quintal on the wholesale grains market today, due to reduced offtake from flour mills against adequate supply. Traders said adequate stocks against reduced offtake by flour mills pulled down the wheat dara prices.

They said fresh supply from the neighbouring states of Haryana and Punjab also dampened the market sentiment. Wheat dara (for mills) shed Rs 10 to Rs 1,235-1,240 per quintal.

Atta chakki delivery followed suit and traded lower by Rs 10 to Rs 1,240-1,245 per 90 kg, while atta flour mills lost Rs 10 at Rs 640-660 per 50 kg.
