Wheat dara prices rose by Rs 10 per quintal on the wholesale grains market today due to increased offtake by flour mills.

However, increased arrivals in the market following record procurement by the government and restricted gains in wheat prices. Traders said increased offtake by flour mills helped wheat dara prices to trade marginally higher.

In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) gained Rs 10 to Rs 1,200-1,205 per quintal, while atta chakki delivery traded higher by the same margin to Rs 1,205-1,210 per 90.
