Wheat futures for February fell by Rs 3, or 0.19%, to Rs 1,548 per quintal, in 6,190 lots.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), the March contract also shed Rs 3, or 0.2%, to Rs 1,471 per quintal in 6,450 lots.
Prices fell as speculators reduced their positions on higher supplies in the market amid hopes of a bumper crop this season.
Supply pressure in the mandis (wholesale markets) also triggered the downtrend.
