Wheat, sooji prices up, maida declines

Prices of wheat and sooji moved up, while that of maida declined, rest all other commodities remained unaltered in the wholesale foodgrains market here during the week under review. 

Wheat increased by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 1,900 from last week's closing rate of Rs 1,850.

Likewise, sooji (90 kg) rose by Rs 50 to 1,850 from Rs 1,800. Maida (90 kg), however, declined, by Rs 50 to Rs 1,650 from Rs 1,700.

Toor dal (Rs 6,800), urad dal (Rs 7,000), moong dal (Rs 7,200), gram dal (Rs 2,950) and sugar (Rs 2,700) traded at their previous week rates.
