Wonderla Holidays has listed at Rs 160, a 28% premium against its issue price of Rs 125 per share, on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
The stock is currently trading at Rs 162. It touched a high of Rs 168 and low of Rs 160 so far. Till 1010 hours, around 1.2 million shares changed hands on the NSE.
The Rs 180-crore public issue of amusement park operator Wonderla Holidays was priced at Rs 115-125 per share. The issue was subscribed over 38 times on the final day of bidding, with the non-institutional book getting subscribed 159.04 times.
The Bangalore-based company entered the primary market offering 14.5 million equity shares, including anchor portion of 2.17 million equity shares.
Funds from the issue will be used to set up an amusement park in Hyderabad, the company's third after Bangalore and Kochi, and for general corporate purposes.
Wonderla is promoted by Arun Kochouseph Chittilappilly and Kochouseph Chittilappilly, who founded V-Guard Industries.
