Zee Entertainment will soon be a part of the 50-share benchmark Nifty index after replacing United Spirits, which was first included in the index earlier this year in March.
Zee Entertainment, which is at present a part of the Nifty junior index, will be moved up to the main index, effective from September 19, 2014, a news release from India Index Services & Products. United Sprits has been excluded from all the indices that it had been listed on.
Other changes to NSE indices include the deletion of MphasiS from the CNX Nifty Junior and the CNX 100 indices and inclusion of Aurobindo Pharma and Motherson Sumi Systems into the CNX Nifty Junior and the CNX 100 index.

A total of 15 companies in the CNX 500 index, two from the FMCG and LIX 15 indices and one each from the CNX Consumption and NI15 indices have been replaced. All the changes will be effective from September 19, 2014.
