Zee Telefilms up 2.7% on rejig plans

Zee Telefilms gained 2.7 per cent after the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that it was considering a re-organization of its business.
 
The scrip, which saw volumes of 39 lakh, slightly above the usual 37 lakh for the for fortnight, finally ended the day at Rs 242.70.
 
The company's board will meet on 29 March to consider a corporate restructuring of its business, though the notice did not give any details.
 
Zee has, of late, seen tremendous growth in its DTH division and also owns a huge cable-TV network, both of which have achieved sizes comparable to the company's main content business. The company might split the distribution arm, including the DTH and Cable, from the content arm.
