Zensar Tech jumps on Fujitsu deal

The Zensar Technologies scrips surged on the bourses on the back of news that the company signed a $30 million multi-year offshore agreement with Fujitsu. The stock leapt 5.45 per cent to settle at Rs 220.70.
 
The counter witnessed volumes of 1.61 lakh shares on Thursday, much higher than the past week's average volumes.
 
The company has signed a five-year partnership agreement with Fujitsu Services to foray into the global markets across Europe, the Middle East and Africa through a dedicated global delivery centre in Pune. As per the agreement, the company is to build and operate a dedicated facility for Fujitsu.
