Zinc prices fell by 0.18% to Rs 113.35 per kg in futures market today on sluggish domestic demand amid a weak overseas trend.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the December contract traded lower by 20 paise, or 0.18%, to Rs 113.35 per kg, with a business turnover of 255 lots.

Likewise, the January contract shed 10 paise, or 0.09%, to Rs 114.25 per kg in 138 lots.

Marketmen say subdued domestic demand and weak trend in the overseas markets brought down the price.
