Zinc for delivery in June declined by 50 paise.

Press Trust of India New Delhi
Zinc prices down by 0.46% to 108.70 per kg in futures trade today as speculators trimmed positions after metal weakened at the London Metal Exchange (LME).

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc for delivery in June declined by 50 paise, or 0.46%, to Rs 108.70 per kg in business turnover of 996 lots.

Likewise, lead for delivery in the July shed 50 paise, or 0.45%, to Rs 109.75 per kg in 19 lots.

Analysts said the weakness in zinc at futures trade was mostly attributed to weakness in metal at the LME.
