Zinc for delivery in June fell 0.32%.

Press Trust of India New Delhi
Amid a weak trend in the global markets and sluggish domestic demand, Zinc futures prices today fell 0.50% to Rs 108.50 per kg.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc for delivery in July traded lower by 55 paise, or 0.50%, to Rs 108.50 per kg, with a business turnover of 35 lots.

Zinc for delivery in June fell by 35 paise, or 0.32%, to Rs 107.35 per kg in a turnover of 1,123 lots.

Marketmen said the fall in zinc prices at futures trade was mostly due to subdued spot demand and a weak trend in the base metals overseas on demand concerns after China's trade and industrial production in May trailed estimates.
