Zinc prices traded marginally higher by 0.09 per cent to Rs 108.85 per kg in futures trade today on pick-up in spot demand.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc for delivery in April traded higher by 10 paise, or 0.09 per cent, to Rs 108.85 per kg, with business turnover of nine lots.

Likewise, the metal for delivery in March inched up by 5 paise, or 0.05 per cent, to Rs 107.55 per kg, with a business volume of 35 lots.

Market analysts said pick-up in demand in the spot market mainly helped zinc futures prices to trade marginally higher.
