Metal for delivery in March also rose by 0.25%

Press Trust of India New Delhi
Taking positive cues from the global market and better domestic demand, zinc futures prices today edged up by 0.29% to Rs 121.10 per kg, as speculators created positions.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc for delivery in April up by 35 paise, or 0.29%, to Rs 121.10 per kg, with a business turnover of five lots.

The metal for delivery in March also rose by 30 paise, or 0.25%, to Rs 120 per kg, with a business turnover of 185 lots.

Marketmen said besides improved demand in the spot market, a strength in base metals overseas, supported the upside in zinc prices at futures trade.
