Amid pick-up in domestic demand and a firming global trend, zinc prices rsoe 0.39% to Rs 102.60 per kg in futures trade today.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the November contract for zinc traded higher by 40 paise, or 0.39%, to Rs 102.60 per kg, with a business turnover of 1,260 lots.
The December contract edged up by 35 paise, or 0.34%, to 103.95 per kg, with a business turnover of 77 lots.
Marketmen said besides pick up in the spot market demand, a firm global trend helped zinc futures to trade higher here.
