Zuari Agro Chemicals gained 7% after the fertiliser and seeds company said that it has resumed production of urea/ammonia.
The company had shutdown its urea/ammonia plant from March 24 for annual maintenance.
“With reference to earlier announcement dated March 25, 2013 and May 23, 2013, Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd has now informed BSE that the production of Urea/ Ammonia has resumed,” the company said in a note to BSE.

Part of the Adventz group, the company has a facility at Goa, with four plants dedicated to manufacturing of urea, DAP and NPK based fertilisers.
At 9:55AM, Zuari Agro Chemicals rose 7.6% to Rs 108.65 on the BSE.
