Bajaj has launched the Platina ES as an updated version of the 100cc commuter bike. The Platina ES costs Rs 52,000 (on-road, Mumbai) and this is an introductory price. The Platina ES gets self-start, alloy wheels and drum-brakes as standard and it has new paint and decals. The Platina ES is available in three colours, ebony black, electron blue and candy red.
The headlights are the same, however these get an aerodynamic visor. The major difference is the revision of the sides with a new side body panel. The grab rails are body-coloured unlike the current model, the front and rear suspension set-up is also unchanged.

The Platina is powered by a 102cc DTSi engine that produces 8.2bhp of power and 12.75Nm of torque, is a powerful engine as the old engine is a 98cc one that chruns out 8.2bhp of power and 8Nm of maximum torque.
