Mercedes-Benz S400 launched for INR 1.45 crore (on-road, Hyderabad)

Mercedes-Benz has just launched the S400, the ninth variant for the S-Class. The German luxury car manufacturer has been on a launching spree and the S portfolio is its widest that is being offered in India. The S400 comes with a 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine that churns 333bhp of power and 480Nm of peak torque. The S400 will be sold along with the S350 CDI and the S500. This engine will also come with a 7G-TRONIC transmission.

The S400 will be locally assembled in India, just like the other S-Class engines. There is the Burmeister music system that is offered on the S400 and it even comes with seven ambient lighting options. Mr Roland Folger, MD and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India said, Mercedes-Benz believes in introducing the latest products and variants in the market at regular intervals."

Mercedes-Benz had launched the S-Class in 2013 and since then it has been introducing various new variants of its flagship sedan. The S600 Guard Maybach was just launched on the last fortnight and the company has introduced another product as well.
