Volvo will be looking the S60 T6 on the 3rd of July. The S60 will be made available with a new petrol engine, which is a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that will produce 304bhp of power and will come mated to an eight-speed self-shifting box.

The Volvo S60's petrol engine will be competing with the BMW 328i and will be more expensive than the currently sold S60's diesel engine. Volvo S60 is direct competition to the Audi A4 and the BMW 3 Series and Audi's S4 also has similar power output. The S60 will be a CBU and the deliveries will commence in a couple of months after the launch.

The S60 will be the Swedish manufacturer's fourth launch for this year after the V40 hatchback, XC90 and the V40 Cross Country petrol. The company is also increasing its footprint as it isn't just launching new products but even increasing its dealerships across the country. At the moment all the products are CBU, and at the moment there has been no announcement for any assembly. There were rumours that the company was talking to several existing company's for using their plant facility but when we spoke to Volvo, they denied anything of this sort.
