Bono has emerged as the world's richest pop star after raking in nearly 1.5 billion dollar fortune from his Facebook shares.
The 'With or Without You' hit-maker had shelled-out 89.6 million US dollars to buy a 2.3 per cent share with his investment group Elevation Partners in 2009 and now his current share's worth is 1.5 billion US dollars, News.com.au reports
With his current fortune, Bono has outshined Sir Paul McCartney, who has a 1.16 billion dollars fortune.
