A security personnel lost his life in a ceasefire violation by Pakistan in the Machil sector of the Kupwara district in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday morning.
This comes a day after an army jawan was injured after Pakistan violated ceasefire in Uri sector of Baramulla district. The injured jawan was admitted to hospital.
Last month, the Pakistani troops had resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch sector. However, no injury or casualty was reported in the attack.
