Olympic champion Mo Farah, who collapsed after finishing the New York City Half Marathon, dismissed the incident and has said that it is 'no big deal'.

Farah, who fell during the race and finished at second position behind Kenyan Geoffrey Mutai, reportedly collapsed again just after he crossed the finishing line.

According to News.com.au, the runner said that he does not remember passing out, but feels that it was just because he obviously tried so hard in the race, falling and then going through again adding that he is 'all right'.

Farah, who is 10,000 metres Olympic and World Champion, added that he remembers falling down and 'hitting the ground' quite hard and said that after the fall during the race he was 'seeing stars'.

The track and field athlete said that after his fall, he just wanted to get back up and get with the group but it was in the last seconds that he managed it.

Farah further added that during the last four miles, he struggled a bit and everything was kind of 'blurred' for him, but he just wanted to 'keep going'.

Despite his fall, Farah caught up with Kenyan Stephen Sambu with about 1.5 km left to take the second place in 1:01:07, although he did not threaten Mutai, the report added.
