Eleven people died and nine were injured in an explosion on Tuesday in the Benxi City near China's Liaoning Province.
As per preliminary information by the China Global Television Network, the explosion took place as a vehicle carrying the explosives exploded near a mine pit.
It is further said that 25 people are still trapped under the mining debris which was loosened up due to the explosion.
The rescue operation is underway.
