A rare 15 to 16 foot King Cobra was rescued from Odisha's Similipal Tiger Reserve on Wednesday night.

The villagers immediately informed forest guards operating in the Kaptipada Range, after which Krushna Chandra Gochhayat, the rescue team head, reached Antapur village and retrieved the King Cobra from a house it was hiding in.
