18 Maoists and 111 Maoist supporters surrendered themselves to the District Police here on Thursday.
According to Police, all the Maoists and supporters belong to Kalimela region's Perubai village.
It is believed that the 111 people that have surrendered themselves were supporting Maoists because at least one member from almost all the families of the village was directly working with these Maoists.
Malkangiri Superintendent of Police (SP) Bhanu Mahapatra said that all the villagers and Maoists will get all the facilities according to the government schemes.
