The Colorado jury has announced lifetime imprisonment to James Holmes, who killed 12 people in a movie theater during a showing of 'The Dark Knight Rises' back in 2012 and injured 70 in Aurora, Colorado, without parole.

Although, the 27-year-old's lawyer said that life in prison was an appropriate sentence for his client as shooting was a result of a psychotic breakdown suffered by a mentally ill man, but legal authorities found him guilty on 166 counts, including attempts for murder and weapons charges, Us Magazine reported.

Notably, Holmes' 2012 firing has given fire to many other criminals who recently attacked people watching 'Trainwreck' in Lafayette, LA, and 'Mad Max: Fury Road' in Tennessee, but hopefully Colorado's strict legal action would threaten criminals and theatre attacks will have a full-top.
