21 people set themselves on fire in Cleveland to set the Guinness World Record for "most people performing full body burns."

The 21 burners gathered in the parking lot of a local restaurant on the banks of the Cuyahoga River, clad in fireproof gel suit under layers of cotton and wool to set the record, the New York Daily News reported.

The 32-second stunt, which featured the burners marching back and forth across the lot with their arms extended like blazing airplanes, ended with a stop, drop and roll.

Cleveland printing company, Hotcards, staged the spectacle to spark interest in the city's resurgence and raise money for the Cleveland Foodbank and Brick by Brick.

The 21-person burner team, which record eclipses the previous record of 17 people, consisted of local CEOs, politicians, a funeral director, minister and radio DJ.
